A Letter From Our Founder
Dearest readers,
After spending 23 years in the U.S. Navy I have developed a heart for veterans who fulfilled their patriotic duty. Veterans and their families made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, yet often have difficulty returning to civilian life and obtaining the benefits available to them or even finding a sympathetic listener. For the last ten years, this dream of mine has been heavy on my heart; creating a charitable organization to help returning veterans. After retiring from the Navy and government services my dream is finally within reach. Can you believe it? I hope to see you stick around for this amazing journey my wife and I are about to embark on.
Regards,
Jerry L. Kistner

Our Action Plan
We will provide a friendly environment to help all veterans and their families; this will include but is not limited to assistance with claims for service-related compensation, pension benefits and surviving spouse benefits. We aim to help veterans and their families in hardship by providing food, utility, rent, medical and transportation assistance as well as providing PTSD counseling, job placement services and support groups.
-
Work through our local VFW to help veterans return to civilian life while helping them obtain the benefits they are entitled to.
-
Support families of deployed military members as well of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
-
Create service programs to include emergency financial assistance, support groups, PTSD counseling, food bank, and service dogs.
-
Our ultimate goal is to provide a family "camp" for veterans in hardship and their children, free of charge. We would like to one day fulfill our goal filing for private and government grants as well as donations.
